Running with our Time for Change theme, it is important to remember that the more people that are educated on Islamophobia in the UK, the greater the likelihood for real change is. Muslims in the UK deserve a wider platform and better representation within many spheres, and both Muslim and non-Muslim communities can work together in allyship to educate society on causes that matter and tackle Islamophobia. Muslims in Britain are crucial to the UK economy and have been significant contributors year on year.

The number of Muslims in Britain who hold positions of higher managerial, administrative and professional occupations has increased over 100,000.

In 2016, a survey was conducted to find out what was the most important thing they looked for when considering a job or career. With over 1000 British Muslim respondents, one third said that being able to practice their religion was one of their top three priorities when considering a job.
